You could say it all started for my wife and I back in 2008. I remember when the market was red hot. In prior years, we saw homes on the market for only a few hours it was amazing to watch. All the while the televised sentiment was that it was going to come crashing down. Well then 2007-2008 hit and my business began to suffer. Shelbi and I watched as we faced the prospect of losing our home after 12 years. At that time, shortly after the home went into "Pre-Forclosure", we began getting all sorts of letters and postcards, from individuals stating they wanted to buy our home. We were so new to the environment that we did not realize the home was ours to sell. We had opportunity, after opportunity to sell the property, pay the Mortgage off, and walk away without ever having a Foreclosure on our record or Credit. We never responded to any of those letters or cards simply because we didn't know it was an option at the time. The only option we thought, was to come up with the amount we were behind with the Mortgage company + attorney fees or the likes - then we could get our home out of Foreclosure.
We were so dedicated to the Foreclosure process that we allowed the home to go to auction, go back to the bank - due to non-sale, and receive notice that we had 60 days to leave the property. I remember the weeks to followed: we cleaned the home, mowed the grass in the front yard and back, loaded up the storage container in the driveway then the big day came - the day we had the container picked up, we walking outside, we turned and locked the front door of what had been our house ...one last time.
Fast forward to the present, we came to realize there was so much we just didn't know. There is so much, that so many, just don't know when it comes to properties, the money system, The money marketing industry, and more importantly, HOW to SELF INSURE against getting stuck financially, and personally again. From those days with us, a company was born, a company that has a specific goal - to see to it that people have a bridge to move FORWARD from one season of their lives into another one. To move forward, cross over, and choose opportunity to grow, expand in knowledge and ability, in order to keep moving forward into a bigger, brighter future.
